CCIPV joined Tay Ninh Province’s Business Connection Forum

CCIPV Chairman Sergio D. Silva invited on stage at Tay Ninh province's Business Connection Forum 2023 to share his expertise in sustainability, including green growth, renewable energies, waste-free factories and safe agriculture.

 

The Chamber of Commerce Portugal - Vietnam was welcomed as part of the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) Vietnams's Delegation to Tay Ninh Province’s Business Connection Forum on 2 June 2023.


Alongside CCIPV Chairman Sergio D. Silva, multiple high-ranking government officials and foreign consulates and chambers of commerce also presented at the event, noticeably Mr. Phung Duc Tien - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD); Nguyen Do Anh Tuan - Director of International Cooperation Department; Mr. Daniel Coenraad Stork - Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in HCMC, Gabor Fluit - Chairman, EuroCham Vietnam, etc.


On the basis of promoting that advantage, Tay Ninh province has been focusing on implementing agricultural development strategies, especially clean agriculture and high-tech agriculture to increase productivity, quality and competitiveness.


Speaking at the opening of the forum, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Tay Ninh is an important focal point and gateway for road traffic in the Southwest of the country; has a strategic position in terms of national security and defense; is a trading hub, transshipment of goods and services, trade and tourism of the countries of the Mekong sub-region thanks to its geographical position located in the main spatial development axes of the region.


"The forum is also an opportunity for Tay Ninh to introduce an attractive investment destination, the image of the homeland and the people of Tay Ninh that are hospitable, friendly and affectionate to international friends and businesses investing in the country. and abroad" - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared.

Look at the future, The Draft planning of Tay Ninh for the period 2021 – 2030 has set a for a sustainable path, aiming to be well-adapted to climate change and have an economy based on clean industry in 2050.
