CCIPV, CAP - Confederação de Agricultores Portugueses and OPAL, partnering together to create the very first time in Vietnam the Portuguese Wine Promotion.
The Confederation of Portuguese Farmers (CAP) has been working, alongside different entities in Southeast Asian countries, on promoting Portuguese wines in the region.
On a two-day event in Ho Chi Minh City, it was held a masterclass with guided tasting, in order to introduce 6 references of wine from Portugal and 1 Port wine to the Target Audience, a wine tasting, where 10 Portuguese wine producers displayed their products and offered to taste samples to participants, and also a Pairing Dinner of Portugal wines with Vietnamese meals during a fancy dinner, to better introduce the potential combinations between both.
The event had two special guests, H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto, Ambassador of Portugal to the Kingdom to Thailand and Mr. Pedro Aires de Abreu, Economic Conselleur of Portuguese Embassy - AICEP Delegate.
On this occasion, CCIPV were the logistics partner and also the mediator between the event organiser in Vietnam and the Portuguese entities, as well as with the wine producers from Portugal.
